Correct and clear description regarding the intricate mutual relation between the soul, world and the divine, creation, sustenance and destruction of the universe etc., is not available anywhere except in the Vedas. The principles of the Vedas are universal and have remained unimpeded for all times. In future too, they will remain irrefutable. Complete in all respects and the established truths that are effectively applicable at all times, are propounded by Vedas alone. This is why in course of time teachings propounded by Vedas will be the Universally accepted.

The word Veda comes from the Sanskrit root ' VID' which means 'to know'. Veda means 'pure knowledge or Wisdom'.

Hence it is universal. It is the invaluable treasure of all irrespective of caste, creed, religion, sect, color, creed or country.

The knowledge that was revealed to the pious souls, seers and sages or scholars, when they were in the state of Samadhi, is Vedas.

Enlightened scholars pondering on the various aspects of the planet received the knowledge during a state of deep meditation. The seers said that as they had received the knowledge, they cannot be attributed to be the creators or innovators of this information. They mention that they received it from a Superior Source, the Almighty Father. That is the reason the state that the Vedas are not a human composition nor an imaginary work of art, but of Divine Origin.

Only Vedas, however insufficiently or indistinctly, are capable of drawing a word sketch of the Almighty.

They are also referred to as ‘Ishwarnishwsit’- i.e. they are the breath of the Lord and are considered to be ‘Apaurusheya’not created by man or as Revealed Knowledge.

Several words from other languages of the world like Oida( Greek), Videre( Latin) Wissen(German), Wit, Wisdom (English) are etymologically close to the word Veda.

It is said that the knowledge contained in the Vedas is as vast and unfathomable as an ocean. They contain immense reservoirs of data and information and are thus referred as Anadi(no beginning), Anant( no end) and Nitya(eternal).

They are a huge databank of information about a wide range of topics. The truthfulness and usefulness of Vedic principles is eternally applicable, which means their relevance in past, present and future remains unchanged. Their teachings can never, at any point of time, be considered to be‘outdated’. The truth of this can be felt even today when the same knowledge offers solutions to present day “Modern” problems.

Whosoever is endowed with the faculty of speech is entitled to recite Vedas. Vedic knowledge does not belong to any particular country or people or language.

Vedic knowledge is not and cannot be confined to a particular group of people differentiated by caste, creed, religion, language, nationality, sex or age. It is revealed for the well-being of the whole mankind without exception.

Sanskrit never belonged to any particular land or people. We find Sanskrit words in languages like Latin, English, Russian, German etc. Sanskrit was never a mother tongue or father tongue of any people.

Vedas are revealed in the ancient most language Sanskrit. It is considered to be the origin of all languages of the world. It is also called Deva Vani meaning language of the Gods. Vedas consist of mantras and the precision and flawlessness of their pronunciation has been preserved through great effort by Guru-disciple tradition. Since the disciple has to learn and repeat the Vedic chants exactly as heard from his Guru’s mouth Vedas are also referred to as ‘Shruti’.

The Vedas are arranged in the form of Mantra’s or Hymns. Revelations of VEDIC MANTRAS were given to different seer’s .These MANTRAS were associated with the families and schools of those seers and were preserved by them separately. It was like a floating mass of knowledge. The great seer Maharishi Vyasa compiled these MANTRAS following various criteria into four groups .Thus from the vast ocean of knowledge four VEDAS were compiled. This activity of compilation, classification and editing was undertaken for the sake of convenience.

RIGVEDA, YAJURVEDA, SAMAVEDA and ATHARVAVEDA are four VEDAS.

The Divine has filled the hearts of Rishis (seers) with the light of Vedas. The same guru-tradition is in vogue from those early times of creation unto this day.

The Vedas contain valuable information regarding various aspects of the planet and life on it. The seers were working on a wide range of issues from health to evolution, from Astronomy to Metallurgy and from Geometry to Phonetics. During the course of their study, they studied the area of interest with great detail. Then after a lot of thinking and meditating the solution to the question they were seeking dawned on them as a Revelation in deep states of introspection. They studied and catalogued the knowledge in totality and passed it on to their students who would pass it on to their students. This must have thus become a system of learning and education. It is called the Gurukula system, where the pupils stayed with the Master till they learned the science completely.

Vedas contain knowledge pertaining to everything from gross matter to Almighty. Vedas show the path that leads from ignorance to knowledge.

The Vedas are a compilation of various scientific data and solutions for many facets of our lives. They are solutions that the learned minds found and documented. Though, the Vedas were not written down until much later in time, the format of understanding the science was very thorough. The student had to understand and learn by heart the entire text or Samhita during the course of his education. To facilitate this, the composition of the Hymn was also very, meticulously planned. Many rules and laws of the language were used to minimize the amount of words to be used to describe a phenomenon in a hymn and it was very seldom repeated again in the text. The pupil had to learn these rules alongwith the implied meaning from his Master.

To understand the entire philosophy one has to understand the entire aspect in totality.

The Vedas contain many technologies and life sciences.

The Vedas contain many different Vedic Sciences which offer solutions to our day to day needs. They are offered in a lifestyle format to facilitate the learning and implementation of the sciences in our lives and make our lives fulfilling, problem free and happy. But to understand the concept we too have to look into the entire philosophy in totality rather than in isolation. The sciences isolation offer part of the answer and the remaining has to be understood by studying the entire concept. For example the application of a Yogic lifestyle can be understood more efficiently if one were to study the science of Ayurveda. The science of Agriculture is linked with Astronomy and Meteorology, etc. The solutions to our life are in form of Sciences which are interlinked and need to be understood to understand the entire picture.

It is said that the knowledge of the Vedas can only be learned from a true Master. The concepts explained in the Hymns can only be understood in its true form from somebody who has understood the entire concept and can decode the meaning. If they are read without understanding the implied meaning, then the true meaning will keep eluding us. Only somebody who is highly enlightened and knowledgeable in the Vedic Philosophy can present the knowledge in its true form.

Shree gave the gist of the Vedas in five simple words and laid out the philosophy in simple words for the entire world to understand. He explained the complex knowledge of the Vedas in lucid and easy to understand language. His message of the Vedas is so simple that even a small child can understand.

He stressed upon understanding the knowledge completely before accepting it on face value. He would often explain the hidden implied meaning of many stanzas of the Vedas and other ancient scriptures and reveal a new meaning that was unknown until then. He would also show the correlation between various different stanzas explained in different scriptures and show the similarity and continuity of the inferred knowledge. He showed the common link between many world scriptures and said that knowledge has to be available to one and all without any bias. All the people have a common right upon the world knowledge and each and everyone has the right to use it for betterment of themselves and their families.

He explained that Vedas are life solutions and were meant to be used for making our lives complete. He showed the path of the ancient Rishi’s as the ideal lifestyle to achieve fulfillment and peace in life. He stressed that the Vedas contain knowledge for fulfillment of both material and spiritual purposes.

A Vedic or Knowledge based lifestyle will provide success in both material and spiritual spheres of life.

Thus He was referred to as the ParamSadguru meaning Perfect Supreme Master.
